Honey Singh is indeed a multitalented person who has tried his hands at a lot of things and keeps on diversifying. He made his acting debut as a villain in a Punjabi movie titled Mirza in 2012. Honey Singh is the first push artist being promoted by MTV in a big way with the aim of making his voice reach different countries of the world. His first solo single hit titled Satan was premiered on MTV. The video had some international talent working together. Not many of you would know this but his birth name is Hirdesh Singh. He was born in Hoshiarpur district of Punjab on 15 March 1984. Soon his parents moved to Karampura in New Delhi. The producers of the movie Cocktail were very interested in using this song in their film and hence approached Honey Singh, who happily obliged. Until 2013, for unknown reasons, Honey Singh had kept his marriage a secret. He came clean about it later that year. Recently, in a candid chat with a news anchor, he disclosed that his wife hates his songs. He laughed about it and then on a serious note added that she likes romantic songs and makes him sing ‘Brown rang’ from his own album at least once every day. He added that he would have to sing a new romantic song very soon for her.
